It's hardly unknown to most of us that life's all about hope and despair, one followed by the other. You won't have one's company all the time. Having said that, none ever says good-bye, comes back at you anytime. Surprises — whether pleasant or unpleasant ones — are woven into the very fabric of life. I read it long time back somewhere, (whatever be the situation)

"Remember, this too will pass."

And pass they do.

Despair seems to be lurking beneath the surface, all the time. And when it strikes, it's more like a quick-sand. You go deeper and deeper unless you find a way out. All your thoughts and motivation seem to give in without a fight.

Disasters in life are the best teachers. You keep sailing through storms, with no beacons to guide you. Hope seems harder to summon. You don't know when and where it ends. But the boat comes ashore, sooner or later. Dark nights span to bright days. Things come full circle.
