But recently Google Docs kept me busy. Here’s how I do it.
I created three spreadsheets in Google Docs.
- Monthly Budget Planner:
It tracks all my planned and unplanned earnings and expenditure. At the end of the month, I edit and update it with all the expenses made during the month. I also update it whenever I receive a payment. So, I have a birds-eye view of how I spent my money and how much I saved.
- Daily Expense Tracker:
This spreadsheet tracks all the expenses I make on a daily basis. This is tiring task at the beginning. But once the habit kicks in, you’re sailing.
- Joe’s Goals:
This is sillier than anything you may think about. But it works for me. Joe’s Goals is an application focused on rewarding yourself with points for every positive work you do on a daily basis. This is pretty simple. You do positive stuff, you get points. You don’t do it (or do some negative works), you lose. I put the same theory a spreadsheet and reward myself with points.
